151 Johnson County Boys Registered Here on July 1

Lottery Held Thursday Night Will Determine Future Status
One hundred and fifty-one Johnson County boys were registered at the office of the Local Board in Paintsville on July 1 for service in the U. S. Army. These boys included those who had attained the age of 21 years since the last registration.
A lottery similar to the last draft will be held in Washington tonight (Thursday) and the numbers drawn will determine the status of each registrant.
