William Martin Crider
William Martin Crider, 96, died Sunday, September 5, in the Paintsville Hospital. He was the son of the late Samuel and Nancy Music Crider.
Mr. Crider was born in Johnson County on January 12, 1880. He was a resident of East Point and a member of the Church of Christ. His wife, Allie Crider, preceded him in death on April 25, 1974.
Surviving are a son, Virgil of Lexington, a daughter, Gertrude Greer of East Point, two brothers, Samuel of East Point and Grove of Middletown, Ky., a sister, Harriet Hester of East Point, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 8, in the Jones Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dave Flannery officiating. Burial was in the Ashland Cemetery in Ashland with Jones
Preston Funeral Home handling arrangements.
