William Harrison Skaggs

    William Harrison Skaggs, 55, of Columbus, Ohio, died in Columbus last Sunday, June 2, 1974. Born in Morgan County on Thursday, October 3, 1918, he was the son of the late Cornelius and Carrie Osborne Skaggs and was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by two brothers, Mitchell Skaggs of Cordel and Homer Skaggs of Louisville, and four sisters; Lexie Skaggs of Red Bush, Dessie Mullins of Adams, Esta Skaggs of Columbus and Dixie Pendleton of Elizabethtown.

     Funeral services for Mr. Skaggs will be held at 2:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 5, 1974, in the chapel of Paintsville Funeral Home, with Reverends Ellis Hamilton and Willard Bailey presiding. Burial will be in the family cemetery at Red Bush, with arrangements under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
