Winn Adams 49 Died Sunday

            Winn Adams, forty nine, one of the best known business men of the tri state region, died at a local hospital at 10:00 A M yesterday after a long ill ness of complication of diseases.

            Mr. Adams was born in Salyersville Ky and when a young man moved to Catlettsburg, where he resided for twenty years. He later made his home in Ashland, but continued his work as manager of the Hampton Grocery Company at Catlettsburg, to which institution he gave his best interest and endeavor. He established a wide acquaintance, being one of the most widely known business men in Eastern Ky.

            His unquestioned honesty, and kindly nature made him very popular and the news of his death will come as a distinct shock to a wide circle of acquaintances and friends.

            He is survived by his mother, who is seriously ill, his wife, Mrs. Dora Williamson Adams, and his niece, Miss Betty Graham, who made her home with him.

            The funeral will take place tomorrow at 1:30 at the home 1517 Chestnut Drive, Ashland and burial will follow at the Catlettsburg cemetery. Rev Mr. D M Howerton of Portsmouth will conduct the funeral service.
