It is hereby voted and agreed between the trustees of the School district No. 27 of Johnson County Kentucky and Eli D. Diles a qualified teacher of said county, that he said Eli D. Diles shall teach the common school in the said district for the term of five months commencing on the 19th of August 1889.
The said Eli Diles agrees faithfully to observe and enforce the rules and regulation established by the trustees, the said trustees in behalf of said District agree to keep the school house in good repair and to provide the necessary fuel and to pay Eli D. Diles all the public money belonging to said district for said term of school provided that in case that the said Eli D. Diles, shall be dismissed from school by the district board for immorality, violation of contract or in any other way, he shall not be entitled to any compensation from that time of annulment or dismission. In witness we have here unto subscribed our names.

Article of agrrement made and enetered into July, 12, 1890 by and between the trustees of School District No. 27 of Johnson County Lentucky and John W, Williams, teacher. It is agreed that said John N. Williams teaches the public school in said district for a term of five months in the school year ending June 30, 1891 according to the common school law of Kentucky and that he teach said school for the public money due said district for said school year. Said trustees agreeing to furnish fuel, broom, bucket and cup. Certificate No. Grade 2
