School District No. 27 1888
School District No. 27, Johnson County, K, met on the second day of June 1888. Felix Orimsley was elected Judge, John W. Williams, clerk of the ensuring election. At this election Wm. D. Diles was duly elected trustee for the school year ending June 30, 1889. J R Rigsby was elected trustee for the year ending June 30th, 1890 and Louis Lemaster was elected trustee for the year ending June 30, 1891

It is herby contracted and agreed between the trustees of the School District No. 7 of Johnson County, Kentucky and Eli Diles, a qualified teacher of said county teach public school in said District for the terms of five months commencing on the 30th day of July and the said Eli D. Diles agrees faithfully to observe and enforce the rules and regulations established by District Board of trustees, the said trustees in behalf of said district agree to keep the school in good repair and provide the necessary fuel also sgree the said Eli D. Diles shall have the public money belonging to the said Eli D. Diles for the school year ending June 30th, 1889. Certificate grade no. 3.
