Being of lawful age and of sound mind making this my last will and testament breaking any former will. Free from anyone but out of said personal estate is my wife to pay my debts and also the rest after paying all my debts she is to have and do as she sees fit to do with the same and I will to my beloved wife, Elizabeth Short, all my Real Estate to have and to hold the same as long as she may want to do so long as she may live and with the rite to use the sum or any thing on the same for her benefit - to support herself and children on _____ and with the rite to the benefits the land ________ her in said rite and at her death the real estate is to be equally divided among all of my children that may be alive at the time and my daughter Ellen Murphy who is now living with her mother at home is to have the rite to stay at home on the with her mother as long as she chooses is to do unmolested and is to help her mother and when the day of division comes she is to have her share of land the sum as the other and as I have agreed with my son G.
