This photo is of Anderson Boyd, born Jan. 1 1873 in Ulyses, Ky. the son of

James and Martha Walker Boyd. He married Catherine Beasley. Anderson died at

his home in Van Lear Jan 2, 1951 and is buried in the Butcher Cemetery

Written on the back is "Gracie, Virgie, Roberta".

They are the daughters of Anderson and Catherine Boyd.

I have no dates as to when all these photos were taken or where.I do have birth and death dates for Gracie and Virgie

his photo is of Catherine (Beasley) Boyd, born Dec. 25 1881 in Lawrence

Co.,Ky. daughter of Jack and Matilda Jones Beasley. She married Anderson

Boyd. Catherine died July 11, 1964 at the Paintsville Hospital. She was

buried in the Butcher Cemetery at Van Lear.

Catherine and Anderson's children were Gracie (Bowling), Virgie (Bowling),

Roberta (Collins), Eula (Banks), Gustava (Collins) and Albritton Boyd.

Albritton died in an accident on his way to his wedding.

(Catherine Beasley Boyd was Johnny Sisco's great-grandmother and Gracie

(Bowling) was Johnny's grandmother)

"The first lady on the left is Catherine (Beasley) Boyd, wife of Anderson

Boyd. She was born Dec. 25, 1881 in Lawrence Co., Ky. and died in the

Paintsville Hospital Saturday, July 11, 1965. She had been a resident of Van

Lear for many years. She has two sisters, Mollie Williamson and Nora Combs,

but we do not know if they are the ones in the photograph.
