Johnson Co. Woman Dies at Ashland
Mrs. Mary E, Daniel and daughter Ora, and Walter Spradlin and daughter Irene, were called to Ashland last week on account of the death of Mrs. Daniels daughter, Mrs. Jackson Greene of East Winchester Avenue.
Mrs. Emma Spradlin and Miss Mollie Daniel were at the home of their sister when the end came, Saturday morning, March 27.
Mrs. Greene had been in poor health for several months but the family became alarmed only a few days before her death.
Mrs. Greene was before marrying, Miss Stella Daniel, daughter of the late Plyman Daniel of Sip, Johnson County and has many relatives and friends here who will be grieved to hear of her death.
She leaves behind a husband and two children, Lora Lucille, 2, and Gladys Vivian, 10, a mother, Mrs. Mary E. Daniel, three sisters, Mrs. Walter Spradlin of Paintsville, Misses Mollie and Oral Daniel and one brother Albert Daniel of Hanging Rock, Ohio.
The funeral services were conducted at the home Monday afternoon by Rev. John Hughes with burial in Ashland cemetery.
