Plans Are Complete For Registration Day Feb. 16
All Men Between 20 and 45 years Must Register
Pursuant to order of the President of the United States and Selective Service Headquarters there will be a third registration of all male persons who have attained their 20th birthday on or before December 31, 1941, and who have not attained their 45th birthday on February 16, 1942, and who have not heretofore registered.
The chairman of each Local Board is responsible for providing suitable registration places and securing voluntary registrars, without expense to the Government and keeping such registration places continuously open between the hours of 7:00 a. m. and 9:00 p. m. local time.
Due to the splendid cooperation of the County Superintendent of Schools and the patriotic donation of their time by the teachers of Johnson County, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion of Paintsville the Local Board feels assured of the registration in Johnson County.
