Robert Atkinson died Sunday

                Robert Atkinson, son a Dr W T Atkinson of this city died in Atlanta, Ga., last Sunday were he was being treated by a noted specialist. A telegram from Tom Atkinson who was with him at the time of death was a shock to him and other relatives in Paintsville.

                Mr. Atkinson formerly loved here and was engaged in the drug business. He married Miss Bessie Bowe, daughter of Son Bowe. From here he moved to the Kentucky River section and for many years was in the drug business.

                A few months ago he went south and his health continued to fail but not until a short time ago was it thought to be a serious condition.

                The telegram did not give the particulars of his death but stated that his remains were being taken Monday to Auburn, Alabama for burial.

                The father and relatives have the sympathy of the community'
