Paw Paw Bread

3 C. sugar
3 1/2 C. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 C. oil
4 eggs
2/3 C. water
1 C. paw paws
1 C. sweet potatoes
1 C. nutmeats, chopped

Sift dry ingredients. Mix in water. Add other ingredients; mix well. Bake in oiled pans for 1 hour in 350ºF oven.

To make pumpkin bread, substitute the paw paws and sweet potatoes for 2 cups of pumpkin. Bread may be frozen for later use.
