James F. Jackson
Veteran of World War No. 1 Dies
James F. Jackson, 55, of Oil Springs community died at his home Saturday night from Tuberculosis with which he had been afflicted for the last five years. He has spent some time at the veteran’s hospital at Chillicothe, Ohio and was continued to his bed for about three years. He is survived by his wife Lydia, one daughter and one son. His aged father Gabriel Jackson, two brothers and two sisters also survive. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon by Revs. Riggsby and Reed. Burial was made in the family cemetery at Oil Springs under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home.
