Donald Blevins

    Donald Blevins  was my father. He served two terms in WWII. He was wounded once. A shell hit the jeep he was traveling in, the jeep flipped over and trapped my Dad beneath it for over 24 hours. He had shrapnel in his leg.

    Donald returned home and married Martha Virginia Crislip. They had six children before his death. They are, in order of their birth, Rowena, Michael, Gay, Yvonne, Mark and Matthew.

    Donald was killed in an automobile accident in Delaware, Ohio. His wife and children survive.

Donald Blevins was born January 20, 1910. He was killed by a drunk driver November 12, 1964. He is buried in Jayne Memorial Cemetery, Johnson County. Donald was the son of William Wallace "Clel" Blevins and Pearlie Frederick Blevins.
