    JOHNSON COUNTY — Donis Meek, 73, of Boons Camp, died Thursday, April 4, at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.

    Born Dec. 4, 1928, in Johnson County, a son of the late Willis and Mollie DeLong Meek, he was a construction worker and miner and a Army veteran.

    Survivors include his wife, Wilma Dishman Meek of Boons Camp; three sons, Harold Dalton Meek and Howard Willie Meek, both of Boons Camp, and Jerry Meek of Williamsport; a daughter, Donna
Michelle Holbrook of Van Lear; three brothers, Homer Meek and Paul Meek, both of Boons Camp, and Arnold Meek of Stanville; two sisters, Joyce Blevins of Staffordsville and Darlene Clark of W. Alexanderia, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

    Funeral service were conducted by Revs. Ellie Hamilton and David Meek Sunday, April 7, at Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville. Burial was in Willie Meek Cemetery, Boons Camp.

    Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
