Raleigh K. Goble, Leander Man Dies December 8
Raleigh K. Goble, 68, resident of Leander, died in a local hospital December 8, at 6:40 a.m.
The son of William H. and Elizabeth Rice Goble, he was born at Denver September 19, 1891.
He was a well-known farmer and merchant of that vicinity and a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his widow, Mary Blair Goble, and four sisters: Mrs. Jim v. Trimble, West Van Lear; Mrs. Burnis Hackworth, Blue Creek, Ohio; Mrs. Herschell Brown, Leander; Mrs. Bruce Blair, Leander.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 Tuesday, December 10, from the Liberty Baptist Church at Denver with Claude Preston and Millard Bryant as officiating ministers.
Burial was in the family cemetery.
