Former Resident Of Martin County Dies January 12

Alex C. Cassady, 66, Dayton, Ohio, former resident of Inez, Ky., died Thursday morning, January 12, at the Brown Hospital, Veterans Administration Center, Dayton.

A resident of Dayton for the past 32 years, he had been employed by the board of education there for 28 years until his retirement a few years ago. He was a member of the Westwood
Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife and one daughter, both of Dayton, Ohio, four sisters, Lucretia Cassady, Ashville, N. C., Mrs. Maxie Pack, Charleston, W. Va., Mrs. W. A. Cumbo, West Van Lear,
and Mrs. Ernest Frith, Martinsville, Va., and two brothers Willie Cassady, Hillsboro, Ky., and G. A. Cassady, Inez.

Burial was made in Memorial Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
