MILES ELDRED ARMS

    Funeral services were held at Denver at 1:30 p. m. Sunday, March 6, 1949, for Pvt. Miles Eldred Arms, who was killed in action in Sicily in 1943.

    He was born at Denver in this county, the son of Oscar and Sarah Jane Hitchcock Arms. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving besides the parents are the following brothers and sisters: Ora Arms, Denver, Viola Bair, City, Venice Estilene A and Velira Arms both of Denver.

    Funeral services were conducted at the parents' home by Rev. Willard Wilcox. Burial was made in the family cemetery direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
