Descendants of Thomas and Mary "Polly" Cantrell Lemaster

Eleazer Lemaster and his wife Rachel Ramey. Eleazer was born about 1760 and married Machell Tackett in 1786 in Amherst Co., Va. After the birth of three children Machell died about 1793 in Spartanburg Co., S.C. and Eleazer married Rachel Ramey. This couple arrived in the Flat Gap area about 1810 and are the ancestors of most Eastern Kentucky Lemaster's with descendants all over the country.

Memorial dedication of the  Lemaster Memorial Monument

 

A Memorial Monument Fund in honor of Eleazer and Rachel Ramey Lemaster has been set up. Donations are welcome.

A special notation will also grace this memorial for Machall Tackett the first wife of Eleazer.
