Lourany Webb Davis

                Mrs. Lourany Davis, age 80 years, died at the home of her son, Vint Davis last Thursday. The burial and funeral were held on Friday afternoon, Rev Dennis Williams and Rev J H Picklesmiser, conducting the services.

                Her husband, John D. Davis died in 1913 and both funerals were conducted last Friday. She leaves the following children who were at the funeral: Mrs. John Reed, Mrs Green Rice, Mrs Harry Blanton, Vint Davis, Crate Davis and an Davis.

                Mrs Davis was one of the best known women of that section of the county and a devoted Christian, being a member of the United Baptist Church.
