Kruger Daniel

Dies June 18 In New York City

    Kruger Daniel, 29, died June 18,1965 in New York City, N. Y., following a brief illness. Born August 26,1936, he was a son of Frank B. Daniel, Crozier, Va., and Vina Simpson, Offutt, Ky. He had been a resident of New York City two years. He had served with the U.S.Army.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Daniels, and one son, Kruger Daniel, Jr., two years of age, of Paintsville. Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Freda Williams, Staffordsville and Mrs. Lloyd Preston, McVeigh, Ky., two half brothers, Quillin Daniel, Erwin Daniel, of Crozier, Va., one half sister, Georgia Daniel, Crozier, Va.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., June 24, in the Southside Freewill Baptist Church, with the Revs. Bill Davidson and Bill Tackett officiating. Burial was in the Offutt Cemetery at Offutt, under the direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
