John Selvage

John Selvage, age 78, of Denver this county, died April 6, 1932 after an illness of four months.

Mr. Selvage was a well known citizen with many friends, and had spent practically his entire life in the county. He had not lived a Christian life until a short time before his death when he embraced the Christian religion and made peace with the Maker.

Mr. Selvage was twice married and is said to be the father of 41 children, most of whom are living. He is survived by his wife and children and numerous grandchildren other relatives thru-out the county.

Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. Millard O'Bryan and Rev. Lloyd Collins in the presence of a large number of people.

The floral offerings were many.
