The Johnson County Cemetery Project indeed has to be one of the biggest undertakings from any county within Kentucky. Cemeteries are documented with names and dates of those buried and pictures of headstones are online along with some obituaries. Check the complete listing of Johnson County Cemeteries that are online at this time. Vol 2 and 3 of the cemetery listings in hard copy are available now. Be sure to get your must have copies before they are out of print! You can print off the order form now at JCHS Books!

If you have a loved one in one of the Johnson County cemeteries please check the online resources and verify the information. If you have an obit, picture, memorial card or additional information you can send it to Darrell Music for inclusion to the site. The Highland Echo is the quarterly publication that is put out by the JCHS. The Highland Echo is Free to members. Back issues when available can be purchased thru the Historical Society. Information regarding these can be obtained at the Johnson County Historical Society Book List.
