The Johnson County Cemetery
Project indeed has to be one of the biggest undertakings from any county within
Kentucky. Cemeteries are documented with names and dates of those buried and
pictures of headstones are online along with some obituaries.
If you have a loved one in one of the Johnson County cemeteries please check the online resources and verify the information. is the quarterly publication that is put out by the JCHS. The Highland Echo is
Free to members. Back issues when available can be purchased thru the Historical
Society. Information regarding these can be obtained at the
Johnson County Historical Society Book List.
