Hazel Borders Daniel

Hazel Borders Daniel, 80, died March 30 in Gilbert, Ariz., after an extended illness.

She was born October 7, 1902, in Johnson County, the daughter of Joseph A. and Mirya Dixon Borders. Her husband, Jay Daniel, died in August, 1965.

Survivors include one son, Charles W. Daniel of Cincinnati, Ohio, one daughter Dorthy Hale, of Gilbert, AZ., 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was the grandmother of Kenneth R. VanHoose of Wittensville and the sister-in-law of Mrs. Home Daniel of Paintsville.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 2, at the Falconer Funeral Home in Gilbert.

Burial was in Mesa, Az.
