Prominent Man Died Friday

Garfield Stambaugh Father of 22 Children passed away at his home On Tom's Creek

                Garfield Stambaugh, age 65 years, and the father of 22 children, 16 of whom are still living, died last Friday morning at his home on Toms Creek, after a lingering illness of Bright's disease. For the past few years, Mr. Stambaugh had been a sufferer from this disease and had been treated in a number of hospitals and by leading physicians of this section.

                He was one of the county's best known and highly respected citizens. He was twice married. Twelve children were born to the first marriage and 10 to his last. His second wife is still living..(paper damaged and missing)
