    Funeral services for Grant Pelphrey, 58, of Alvada, Ohio,were held recently at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home. Mr. Pelphrey was born June 20, 1929, in Paintsville, to Grant and Cinda (Ward) Pelphrey.

    He was a machinist at Atlas Crankshaft, Fostoria, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army from 1945-1946 and was a member of the Carey American Legion and the Findlay VFW. He was a member of Carey Blue Lodge 420, Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo, Ohio. Toledo Shrine and the Findlay Shrine Club.

    Surviving are his wife, Barbara L. Coffman; two sons, Rodney G., and K. Alan, both of Findlay,Ohio; three brothers, Garrett, of Ashland, David, of Findlay, and Benjamin, of Fremont; four sisters, Cordia Griggs, Mrs. John (Cora) Setser, and June Pelphrey, all of Findlay, and Mrs. Allen(Martha Ann) Porter, of Mesa, Arizona; and five grandchildren and a step-grandson.

     Officiating at services was Rev. Lowell Reeder. Burial was in Memory Gardens near Arcadia, Ohio. Memorials may be made to Cancer Patient Services.
