Mr. May was a resident of Wittensville. He was born February 14, 1938, in Johnson County, the son of Paul May and Larve Wittaker May, and was a member of the Tom's Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his father are his wife, Beatrice Picklesimer May, who he married June 12, 1957; two sons, Ronnie Joe, East Point, and Paul Edward, Wittensville; tree daughters, Doris Dills, Illinois and Paula Lee, Hager Hill; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 16, in Tom's Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Revs. James Kelly Caudill, Lifes VanHoose, and Wallace Conley officiating. Burial was in Buchanan Cemetery, Louisa, with Jones-Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
