ERVIN WRIGHT
Ervin Wright, 62, well-known Red Bush man, was found dead near the Mud Lick Bridge about 4:00 Thursday afternoon by a passerby. A fall from a cliff on a side road just off Ky. 172 near the home of Boone Blevins was to blame for the death. He died instantly from a broken neck and other injuries.
Mr. Wright was a resident of Red Bush and a veteran of World War II. He was born in Johnson County on Dec. 11, 1905, a son of C. C. Wright and Margarette McKenzie Wright. Surviving are his wife, Nettie Wright, one son, Eulas Wright, Ashland, Ky., and a brother, Ernest Wright of Red Bush. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, October 12, at the residence by Robie Ferguson and Rev. Addie Ferguson. Burial was in the family cemetery.
