Ernest Castle
Ernest W. Castle died October 21 at Newark, OH Hospital after suffering a heart attack.
He was born March 19, 1929 in Paintsville, the son of Basier and Mabel Murphy Castle. He was employed at Newark Air Force Base for 29 years, and was a veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife Bulea Ramey Castle, a son Ernest W. Castle, and a daughter, Connie Bowlin, all of Newark; his mother Mabel Castle of Shelby, OH; two sisters, Judy Adkins of Shiloh, OH and Mary Brown of Newark, OH., and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held October 23 in Henderson, Van Atta, and Johnston Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joseph T. Winn officiating.
Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newark.
