ERNEST B. JACKSON ENTERED INTO ETERNAL REST TUES. MAR. 16,
1976
Ernest B. Jackson died @ 4a.m. today in
Community Hospital. He was stricken earlier as he was fishing @ Beaver Lake.
Born Nov. 17, 1905, in Oil Springs, KY., he was the son of Alonzo and Flora
Conley Jackson. He had been a resident of Ohio for the past 31 yrs. and in
1971 he had retired from International Harvester following 25 yrs. of service.
Jackson was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors includes his wife, the
former Mabel Castle; four daughters, Miss Eleanor and Miss Nancy Jackson both
at home; Mrs kenneth {Patricia} Mullen of Urbana, OH, Mrs. Ernest {Mickey{
Pride of Cottonwood, AZ; five sons Paul and Lon, both of Cottonwood, AZ., Tes
of Urbana, OH., Dan of Springfield, OH., and Mike with the U.S. Navy in
Washington, D.C.; 14 grandchildren and six stepgrandchildren; two sisters Mrs.
Arthur [Dorthy] Curnutte of Fairborn and Mrs. William [Nellie] Roberts of
Florida. He was preceded in death by one son a grandson and a brother Aldie
Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at
2 p.m. Friday in the Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Arnold Moore,
pastor, officating, assisted by the Rev. Floyd Waffenbarger. The body will be
taken to the church one hour prior to the service.
Friends may call at the Walter Funeral Home on Thur. from 3
to 5 and 7 to 9pm. Burial will be made in the Mifford Center Cem.
Pallbearers will be Joe Mullin, Renie Pride, Danny Roberts,
Ed Dingey, Oscar Froman and Bob LeMasters. Honrary pallbearers will be Ermery
Falk and Ralph Castle.
