MRS. OWENS 97 Dies Resided Here 35 Years

        Following an extended ill ness Mrs. Della Mullins Owens, 97, died Tuesday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs Denvil Saunders of Rayburn Rd.

    She was born in Lawrence County Ky October 2, 1864 to thelate Booker and Lizzie Mullins and was a member of the first Baptist Church. Mrs. Owens resided in Boyd County 35 years.

    Other survivors include nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Friday at the Lazear Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Memorial. Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
