Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 11, 10 a.m. at McCullough Grove
Baptist Church for Dixie “Mann” Cantrell, 84, who passed away Sunday, June 9
at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, In. Mrs. Cantrell was born August 5, 1917 in Johnson County, daughter of the late Lonnie and Allie (Music) Mann. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Cantrell and one son, Herman Cantrel. Surviving are four daughters, Hattie Books of Hagerstown, In., Addie Schmidt of Palm Springs, California, Barbara Bolln of Mackey, In., and Helen Hodgen of Mackey, In.; one sister, Eliza Sisco of eastern Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. The service was officiated by Rev. Kenneth Thomas, with burial following in Montgomery Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel. |
