    Salesman, Arbie D. Ray 62, died Sunday, April 9, 1995, at his Paintsville residence. Mr. Ray was born Tuesday, October 4, 1932, in Martin County, the son of the late Herchell and Ova Reed Ray.  He was employed by the Colgate Company and a veteran of the Korean War.

    Surviving are his wife, Doris Sue Ray; one son, Roy Wikoff of Gulfport, Mississippi; three daughters, Charlotte Mullins of War, West Virginia, Linda Lucas of Verdunville, West Virginia and Dola “Tootie” VanHoose of Paintsville; one brother, Paul Ray of Paintsville; two sisters, Leona Preece of Tomahawk and Arlena Haney of Inez; and nine grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.

    Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, April 12, 1995, at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church, with Terry Jones and Eldon Rucker officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, with Jones-Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
