Ann Ruth Wills Tuzzy

 Mrs. Louie Tuzzy, of Van Lear, was among the 39 women to be accepted in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps on August 8. This was the first group to pass the mental and physical tests from this area. She is now awaiting call and will be stationed at Ft. Des Moines, Iowa.

                Mrs. Tuzzy was the former Anna Ruth Wills, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Wills, Van Lear. She also graduated from Van Lear High school and has at various times been employed at the local department stores. She is a member of the Van Lear Women's Club. Her husband recently enlisted in the Army Air Corps.

               This young lady is well-known in Paintsville and Johnson County and their fellow citizens wish her success in her new venture.
