Johnson County woman died in Washington; Daughter Weds at Casket side

The following account of the funeral of Mrs. H S Williams, a former resident of Johnson County but now a resident of Peshastin, Washington was taken from the Washington Daily Word.

Mr Williams is a son of B S Williams of Kenwood, this county, who moved to the state of Washington in the year 1909 and has been a resident of that stat since that time. Mrs. Williams leaves many relatives in this county. Before her marriage Mrs. Williams was Miss Adda Pendleton.

Mrs. Williams before her death made funeral arrangements and left a letter of advice and counsel to her husband and children. One of her requests was that her daughter be married at her funeral beside her casket and this request was carried out. Following is an account of the funeral:

On Saturday at 8:30 marked the passing of one of Peshantin's most lovable women following a major operation at the Cascade Sanatorium of Leavenworth, Adda R. Williams, wife of H S Williams.

The funeral was held in the social room of the Masonic Hall at Leavenworth on Wednesday at 11:30 am. Internment was made in the Wenatchrr cemetery under the direction of the Leavenworth Undertaking Department.
