MRS ARIZONA JAMES DIES MONDAY NIGHT
Mrs. Arizona James a resident of Craig county for 40 years, died at 9 pm
Monday in a local hospital. She was 76 years old. Mrs. James had been in falling
health for the past three years, but the death was attributed to a heart attach
she suffered at about noon Monday.
She was born May 9, 1883 in White House, Ky. later moving to Kansas. She had
lived in Craig county since about 1919. She was a member of the Pentecostal
Holiness church.
Survivors include: eight sons, Jess and Forest Daniels, both of Fowler Colo.
Albert Daniels, Vinita, Melvin and W.L. James both of Vinita. L.V. James, Grand
Junction. Colo. Frank James, White oak and Charles James Miami; four daughters.
Mrs Ethel Frayer Rocky Ford, Colo. Mrs. Bertie Hill and Mrs. Iva Buttram both
of Cardin and Mrs Ling James, Vinita: Three brothers: L.V. Dameron, Hot Springs
Ark. Albert Dameron Flippin Ark. and Richard Dameron Ordway Colorado. 36
Grandchildren and 31 Great Grand children .
