No one who has ever visited Central Kentucky and Jessamine County has ever failed to be in awe of the miles and miles of beautiful roads leading to and around the many horse farms dotting the Kentucky landscape. This is just one of many such roads, with their distinctive black fences and rolling land. At one time, most of the farms were known for their white fences, but the expense of maintaining them became too great. Only in the past 20 years, have residents and visitors grown accustomed to the change.
