The Fain Cemetery is located on what I believe to be the farm of Milford Fain (1846-1935). Milford was a storekeeper and farmer; in Pollard, which was actually named by Milford, for his father. He was the great-great-grandson of William Fain, a Revolutionary War soldier, grandson of Mastin Fain (born in VA, died in 1851) and Frances Augan Fain, and son of Pollard Fain (1825-1906) and Mary Ann Peel Fain (1821-1904).
Also buried in the cemetery along with members of the Fains are the following names: Brumfield, Burton, Comley, Hurt, Locker, Reynolds, Rogers, Runyon and Warner.
