This indenture made this 10th day of January 1880 between William F. Davis of the first part and William C. Lewis Sr. of the second part Witnesseth that the said William F. Davis has and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and fifteen dollars in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold unto the said Wm. C. Lewis Sr. a certain tract of land in Hickman County Kentucky being a part of the north east quarter of section thirty two township two Range 2 West allotted to him by the Commissioners of the Hickman County Court in division of land of Noah F. Davis dec’d being part of lot No. 5 bounded as follows: Beginning at a post thence south 20 poles to a post thence east 52 poles to a post with red oak pointer thence south 60 poles to a post with hickory pointers thence east 29 poles to a post thence north 80 poles to a post with three hickory pointers thence west 81 poles to the beginning containing 21 acres to have and to hold the property hereby conveyed unto the said Wm. C. Lewis his heirs and assigns forever with covenants of general warranty. Witness by hand date first above.
