This Indenture made and entered into this June the 6th 1859 between J. W.
WESTBROOK and E. A. HORTON of the County of Hickman and State of Kentucky of the
one part and J. H. BYASSEE of the Same County and State of the Second part
withnesseth that the parties of the first part hath this day sold and doth by
these presents sell and convey to J. H. BYASSEE of the Second part a certain
Steam Saw and grist mill in this county and all the ____ and fixtures belonging
to the Same to have and to hold Said mill & fixtures forever Provided
however that whereas J. H. BYASSEE hath this day sold to the parties of the
first part the above named mills at the price of two thousand Dollars to be paid
as expressed in an agreement executed between them and J. H. BYASSEE dated and
executed this day, now if they of the Second part faithfully and truly comply
with their agreement and make payments in the manner and at the times mentioned
in Said agreement then this Sale and conveyance to be void else to remain in
full force and effect In testimony of which we have hereunto set our hands this
day and date above written.

I, E. R. RAY clerk of the county court for the county aforesaid do hereby
certify that the foregoing mortgage from J. W. WESTBROOK and E. A. HORTON to J.
H. BYASSEE was on the 6th day of June 1859 produced to me in my office and
acknowledged by Sirs? Westbrook and Horton to be their act and deed duly
recorded in my office this 15th day of June 1859.
