For and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred and seven dollars and twenty fie cents I have this day sold and delivered to John B Perry the within named property and also one pair of Large Gill looking glasses this 3rd October 1835. O.G. Cates
Kentucky, Hickman County To Wit:
I, Henry L Edrington clerk of the county court for the county aforesaid do certify that on this day the foregoing assignment on a Bill of Sale from Thomas Griffey to OG Cates was produced to me and acknowledged by the said OG Cates to be his act and deed whereupon the same together with the foregoing certificate hath been duly admitted to record in my office. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 2nd day of December 1835.
