Know all men by these presents that I James Boaze of the county of Hickman KY have this day for and in consideration of the Love and respect have and bear to Mary MB Arrington wife of James Arrington and the natural heirs of her body as well as the further consideration of one dollar to me in hand paid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have this day bargained sold delivered and conveyed to her the said Mary MB Arrington wife of James H Arrington the following Negroes one woman slave aged fifty six named Marian, one Negro man Allen aged 27 years to have an to hold the same for her exclusive benefit during her natural life and then to descend to her children which she now has or hereafter may have by the said James Arrington and none others. In testimony whereof I do hereunto set my hand and affix my seal this 14th day of February 1832. James Boaze

I Henry L Edrington clerk of
the county court for the county aforesaid do certify that the foregoing deed of
gift from James Boaze to Mary MB Arrington was produced to me on the 14th
day of February 1832 and acknowledged by the said Boaze to be his act and deed
for the purposes therein contained and admitted to record.
In testimony that I have recorded the same together with this certificate I have hereunto set my hand this 18th day of August 1832. HL Edrington
