Know all men by these presents that I Isaac Howard of the county of Hickman & state of Kentucky have this day for and in consideration of the sum of ninety dollars to me in hand paid by B.W. Ferguson of the county and state aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged bargained sold delivered and conveyed to him said BW Ferguson the following described property to wit 2 cows, one calf marked with 2 crops, & 4 splits, one bed and furniture, twelve head of hogs marked with two upper sloaps, sixty barrels of corn also 200 bundles of fodder all of which above described property to have and to hold to him said BW Ferguson his heirs & I the said Isaac Howard for myself my heirs & I do covenant and agree to warrant and defend against all lawful claims whatsoever in testimony whereof I do hereby subscribe my name and affixed my seal this 14^th day of January 1832

I    Henry L Edrington clerk of the county court for the county aforesaid do certify that on the 6^th day of February 1832 the foregoing Bill of sale from Isaac W Howard to BW Ferguson was produced to me and proven by the oaths of John V Pool and Benjamin Bell subscribing witnesses thereto to be the act and deed of the said Isaac W Howard for the purposes therein contained and admitted to record.

In testimony that I have recorded the same together with this certificate I have hereunto set my hand this 14^th day of August 1832.                HL Edrington
