Isaac Guill to Benjamin Farmer - Deed Book A Pages 153-155
This indenture made the eighteenth day of September one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine between Isaac Guill of the county of Graves and Commonwealth of Kentucky of the one part and Benjamin Farmer of the county of Hickman and Commonwealth aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Isaac Guill for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars and fifty cents in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Benjamin Farmer his heirs and assigns all that piece or tract of land situate and being in the county of Hickman on the water of the Buy Odesha (Bayou de Chien?) Creek and bounded as follows to wit: apart of the North East quarter of section thirty five township two range two west Beginning on a hickory and dogwood seventy poles west from the south east corner of said quarter and running west ninety poles to a dogwood thence one hundred and sixty poles north to an elm then East one hundred and two poles to a stake in the said section thence south west one hundred and sixty poles a conditional made by Thomas (?) and Benjamin Farmer to the beginning containing ninety five acres be the same more or less with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the land hereby conveyed with the appurtenances unto the said Benjamin Farmer his heirs and assigns forever and the said Isaac Guill doth assign, set over and transfer all his rights title claim and interest in said land to the said Benjamin Farmer his heirs and assigns. To have and to hold this land forever in witness whereof the said Isaac Guill together with Elizabeth Guill his wife who hereby relinquishes her right of dower in and to the lands conveyed in this deed hath hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.

Commonwealth of Kentucky Graves County set
We, Frederick Farmer & Mattheas Travis, Justices of the Peace for said
county do hereby certify that Isaac Guill and Elizabeth Guill his wife parties
to the foregoing deed personally appeared before us in our court aforesaid and
subscribed and acknowledged the same to be their act and deed, we having
previously examined the said Elizabeth Guill privily & apart from her said
husband and she with her own free will and consent relinquishes her right of
dower and she said land and desires us to certify the said acknowledgement to
the clerk of Graves County Court in order that the said deed bay be recorded
given in under our hands and seals this 21st November 1829

As clerk of the court of said county I certify that the foregoing deed from
Isaac Guill & Elizabeth Guill his wife to Benjamin Farmer ws on the 17th
day of December 1829 produced to me in my office and the same was requested to
be recorded which with this certificate and that of Frederick Farmer and
Matthias Travis Esgns is done accordingly. In testimony whereof I have hereunto
