The following were taken from the Hickman Courier weekly newspaper
of Fulton County, Kentucky from the year 1910. Obtained from microfilm

Hickman Courier - January 6, 1910 - Thursday
Miss Leslie Rogers married Paul Blakemore
on Sunday December 26th in Hickman.
R. L. Gray married Hattie Jones on Saturday
in Union City. Mrs. Gray is a cousin of Mrs. Gray who died a few
weeks ago in this city. While some may be inclined to the idea that
Mr. Gray’s marriage is a little premature, it can be explained by reason
of the fact that he promised his former wife, at her own request, and during
her last hours, that he would marry again at once for the benefit of their
children. He has kept that promise.
W. C. Bowden married Pauline Caldwell in Nashville.
She is the daughter of Mrs. Alice Caldwell of Nashville, he is the son
of E. H. Bowen.
Robert Alexander married Lucy Murchison, she
is the 2nd daughter of Mrs. Fannie Murchison and niece of W. B. McGehee.
They were married December 29th in Cayce.
Leona Roper married Will Jefferies on Sunday
before Christmas. She is the daughter of Robert Roper of Cayce.
J. A. Numer of Fulton married Maggie Lee Adams
of Waverly on Tuesday afternoon.
Miss Hester Brittain married Lee B. Rucker,
two people of Fulton at the home of Tom Fields, on December 30th.
May Holmes married Herman Choate on Sunday.
Miss Louise Carpenter married Mr. C. B. Whiteside
on Monday at the home of the bride. The bride is the daughter of
Mr./Mrs. W. A. Carpenter.
Walter K. Bowling married Maude Moses on December
30th, 1909. The bride is the sister of Mrs. Lon Ray.

Twins”. He is the son of Thos. Moore of Hickman county.
Luther Woods, 22, of Missouri, and Miss Zula Tucker, 21, of this
county were married at the court house on March 12th.
Mr/Mrs. L. P. Ellison announces the engagement of their daughter
Annie Stephens Ellison to Mr. Lewis H. Kilpatrick of Memphis, Tenn.
The wedding is to be in April.

of sterling worth. When he was 7 years old, he was taken from the
Baptist Orphans Home in Louisville, by Miss Nannie Meacham, and was reared
in the family.

Walter Eastwood married Essie Jones on Saturday in Fulton.
Amos Ricks and Barbara Upshaw will be married at the colored M. E.
Church on Wednesday April 3rd.

Annie Lee Pascall married Gordon Baird on Sunday in Dyersburg.

It has jut leaked out that Miss Jessie Henry and John Isome Jonakin
were married in Nashville on August 16, 1910. According to an informant,
they went to the Union City fair and a friend went to Nashville and procured
the license.
