This picture was sent to me by Nelda Hitchens. It is of a cemetery that is located on the old farm property of Richard Carpenter of 1745. It explains of Richard's trip to Fleming County, KY, then Mason County back in the 1790s. That is when Richard Carpenter arrived in Fleming County.
This marker is believed to be that of Richard Carpenter.

This is the tombstone of Albert Dudley Carpenter, who was
a descendent of John Carpenter, son of Richard Carpenter, 1745, of Fleming
County KY. John Carpenter married Rachel Hinton. John's dates are
1772-1837 and his wife, Rachel, 1772- 1861.
