Abraham Cassell, of Jessamine Co, Ky certifies that he knew the above named John G. Boyer when he served in Captain White's company from Fredericktown Maryland in 1778 and knew him to be the same person.
John Ward of Lexington was a clergyman.

STATE OF KENTUCKY BOURBON COUNTY. Personally appeared, April 21-1840 before judge of the Bourbon Circuit Court, Anna Mary Boyer, widow of John G Boyer, who has previously made application for a pension under the act of Congress passed July 7-1838, certified an act granting one-half pay and pensions to certain widows; states that the family record containing the record of the marriage with her husband John G Boyer and which is hereto annexed in the hand writing of her husband now deceased, is the same original record which was before the judge when the former declaration hereto was made in the possession of her husband during his life time and has been in her possession since his death.
She was a resident of the city of Lexington, Ky July 16 1844, aged 75 on the 17th day of Feb last past, and states that her husband was a private in the army of the revolution and that she has received a pension of 30 per annum under the act of July 7th 1838.
She makes declaration for pension April 5th 1839 in Lexington, Kentucky, at that time a resident of Lexington, aged 70, states that she was married to John G Boyer on April 10-1786 and that John G Boyer died June 5 1833; that she was not married to him prior to his leaving the service. Her maiden name was Anna Mary Zealer. William Vanpelt made affidavit that he had long been acquainted with her and her husband. The records show that she lived part of the time in Frankfort, July 3-1844 and part of that time in Lexington.
