Kenneth G. Winkler

Kenneth G. Winkler, 74, of St. Clair Township, passed away at his residence, at 7:21 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000
He was born in Estill County, Ky., on March 19, 1926, the son of Robert and Bessie (Cox) Winkler. Kenneth was a veteran of WWII with the U>S> Army from 1944 to 1945 and was employed as a machinist for Ford Motor Co., in Sharonville for 30 years before retiring in 1986. He was a member of High L. Bates Lodge 686 F & M; Scottish Rite Valley Temple of Cincinnati; Shrine Syrian Temple and his most cherished membership was at Princeton Pike Church of God, where he was an usher for the last 23 years. On Sept. 2, 1950, in Irvine, Ky., he was married to Treva Baker.
He was survived by his wife, Treva Winkler of St. Clair Township; two daughters, Patty and husband Regan Roark and Pamela J. Winkler, both of Hamilton; on beloved grandson, Dylan Travis Roark of Hamilton; one brother, Glen (Carol) Winkler of Lexington, Ky.; four sisters, Pauline (bob) Winkler of Hamilton, Katherine (Roscoe) Lainhart of Irvine, Ky., Maude (Al) Winkler of Liberty, Indiana; and Faye (Roy) Marcum of Lexington, Ky., and a sister-in-law Lena Winkler of Hamilton.
He was preceded in death by his brother parents and one brother, Raymond.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Princeton Pike Church of God, 2370 Princeton Road with the Rev. Sam Luke officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank you to Hospice of Cincinnati, Dr. Christopher Meier and Dr. Arthur Richards for their loving care.
