Dolly Wells

Dolly Wells, 95, of Middletown, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at the Garden Manor Extended Care Center.

She was born July 13, 1908, in Irvine, Ky., the daughter of David Short and Sarah (Hardy) Short. Mrs. Wells worked as a machine operator for Interstate Folding Box Co. for 15 years before retiring in 1970. She was a member of the Christian Enterprise Baptist Church.

Mrs. Wells is survived by a niece, Gerri Humphreys of Middletown; good friends, Arvil and Lena Dean of Eaton; and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson Wells.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with the Rev. Arvil Dean officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery.
