Myrtle was the daughter of Jasper Tipton and Lula Ree Marcum; granddaughter of Albert Tipton and Armilda Patrick, and Charlie B. Marcum and Nannie Belle Barnes.


TIPTON, Myrtle age 80 of Dayton, OH, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2004 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Tipton Sr. She is survived by her sons William and wife Carolyn of Grand Rapids, MI, Carl Jr. and wife Judith of Englewood, Ronnie and wife Barbara of Dayton, Joey and wife Roberta of Humble, TX, and Dannie of Dayton; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters Ruby and Bessie; brothers Elvia and Forrest; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday, July 29, 2004 at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
